Vocational Case Managers provide support throughout an individuals work program enabling them to first maintain and then grow in their positions. Together, the individual and their vocational case managers discuss progress and develop vocational goals. In order to obtain and keep a job, there are basic interpersonal and work skills that one must learn and maintain. It is the Vocational Case Managers responsibility to insure not only that these skills are present but also to help enhance those skills as possible.
Although the Vocational Case Manager's primary responsibility is to work with an individual to provide guidance to help maintain and eventually enhance their performance on the job, they may also offer support and referral on personal issues if they determine those issues have a bearing on an individual’s performance at the work place. |
