More than 70 trainees work in the recycling programs located at our main site in Mt. Holly and also at McGuire AFB. In the recycling program, trainees may either travel with a driver/supervisor and assist in curbside collections or work at the recycling facility where recyclable materials are sorted and bailed for shipment to recycling mills.
In addition to operations at the recycling center, the O.T.C. also oversees Bulky Waste Recycling Operations at the County Landfill. Trainees assist in recycling bulky waste products including scrap metals, wood waste, Freon recovery, paint, batteries and tires.
Clients who work on our recycling programs are extremely energetic, highly aware individuals that are capable of working in active, industrial situations. Safety controls are stringent, and of the very highest priority for our supervisors. |
