Day Program Technician

Seeking energetic and caring candidate for our Community Access Centers.  Position involves working one-on-one with an assigned individual with a disability and assisting them with their daily needs in program and community activities.  Plan, coordinate and transport individuals with disabilities to and from their residence and to and from various work or contract assignments throughout the day, bending and lifting. Duties include providing transportation in the community with non-ambulatory lift vehicles.


Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Gather and empty trash. Responsible for servicing, cleaning, and supplying restrooms, lavatories, and showers. Dust furniture or fixtures, walls, machines, equipment, and polish metal fixtures and trimmings. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors. Maintain accountability of assigned supplies and equipment utilizing them in accordance with the manufacture guidelines and per supervisors instructions. Follow cleaning schedules and complete assigned work in a timely fashion and to acceptable quality standards.

Heavy Equipment Operator – Full Time

Seeking heavy equipment operator to support the resource recovery team at the Burlington County Landfill in Columbus, NJ. Job requires experience with operating a bulldozer, front end loader, tractor trailer, and dump truck. Class A license is preferred. Must have valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. 

Compliance Officer – Part Time


The Compliance Officer oversees the OTC’s Compliance Program, functioning as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns within the organization. The Compliance Officer insures that the OTC and its organizational entities are complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as complying with all internal policies and procedures. Researches and documents specific compliance requirements that apply to individual areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develops/implements corrective action plans for resolutions of problematic issues, and provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.

Position Requirements:

Bachelors degree required; minimum of 5 years experience involving operational, financial, quality assurance as well as the responsibility to interpret and insure compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations. Nonprofit experience a plus. Extensive report writing, policy and procedures development experience. Must have strong analytical, verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and Access. Must have valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Fleet Maintenance Mechanic


Fleet Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for servicing of Company’s fleet of vehicles including compactors, automated arm trucks, heavy and light trucks, pay loaders, bobcats, etc. Duties include: ensuring all vehicles are repaired in accordance with the safety and DOT/CSA regulations; conduct vehicle inspections; diagnosis malfunctions and perform corrective actions on engines, powertrains, suspensions, chassis, brakes, adjustments of control linkages, hydraulic systems, mechanisms, electrical accessories; performing on-road and in-shop repairs; and coordinating all repairs with the Fleet Maintenance Manager. MUST HAVE CDL B MINIMUM AND ABLE TO MAINTAIN THROUGHOUT EMPLOYMENT. 

Position Requirements:

An in-depth knowledge and experience of diesel and hydraulic automotive, heavy truck principles and theories, record keeping, repair procedures and training methods used in servicing fleets of vehicles used by the recyclable collection and processing industry. Strong hydraulic/mechanical/electrical skills and an ability to diagnose and repair heavy equipment is essential. Must be able to withstand physical pressures of standing, walking, performing tasks that require manual and visual dexterity involved with heavy equipment service and repair. Ability to lift 50 pounds infrequently. ASE certifications in medium/heavy duty (T-series certifications) and Automotive HVAC certification preferred. Must have valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
