What began as a simple training program for eight individuals in the basement of a school has grown into an organization that provides vocational work and training for over 500 adults. The O.T.C.’s well conceived business plan is centered on quality performance to our customers and the desire to provide the best possible vocational training to the individuals with disabilities we serve. With revenues of over 30 million, the O.T.C. has grown to be the largest organization of its type in the South Jersey area.
The O.T.C. provides a wide array of contract services, some of which are benchwork (assembly and packaging), custodial services and foodservice.
The benchwork or assembly area is the core of the O.T.C.’s contracted work programs employing over 135 skilled individuals working in a modern 54,000 sq. foot facility. The benchwork area is fully equipped to perform complete contract packaging services of almost any type and with our large, trained workforce we can accept and quickly turn around virtually any type and size project with very little notice.
The O.T.C. also has contracts for custodial services throughout Burlington, Camden and Mercer counties. The contracts range from multi-shift work at large military installations to smaller contracts in the private sector. Since 1994, the O.T.C. has provided food service to McGuire AFB. This contract provides training and work for over 45 adults with disabilities. |
