The Recycling Program is the cornerstone of the O.T.C.’s expansion into community based contracts and serves as one of the most innovative recycling programs in the nation. While addressing the environmental needs of Burlington County, the State of New Jersey and the Federal Government, the program provides individuals with disabilities bon-a-fide job opportunities ranging from laborers assisting in the collection and processing of recyclables to the operation of heavy machinery. Each of these positions affords a great sense of accomplishment and pride. The Recycling Division of the O.T.C. employs more than 65 individuals with disabilities to collect and process recyclables. |
