McGuire Recycling

Year Established: 1995 Location: Recycling Center McGuire Air Force Base Job Duties: Base-wide collection and processing of paper and aluminum products. As part of McGuire's commitment to reduce the residual waste stream, base officials constructed a 5,000 square foot recycling plant. The plant enables personnel at McGuire to participate in recycling operations base-wide. Through a contract with JWOD Program, the O.T.C. oversees operations at the recycling facility. Once collected by the recycling crew, the materials are processed and prepared for shipment to recycling vendors.
