Employment Opportunities

Thank you…

for your interest in the Occupational Training Center of Burlington County, Inc.  The OTC is committed to attracting, encouraging, and retaining a workforce to support our mission of assisting adults with disabilities in reaching their maximum potential. The OTC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. In keeping with our commitment, the OTC encourages Women, Minorities, Persons with Disabilities, and disabled, recently separated, and other protected and Armed Forces service medal Veterans to apply.

For over 50 years, the Occupational Training Center of Burlington has been helping to find and create jobs for disabled people. Initially founded in the basement of a school, we now operate our own facility and offer a range of job counseling, vocational training, and instruction on other job-related skills.

Every individual that comes through the doors at the Occupational Training Center of Burlington will receive the aid and support of our entire organization. As a part of our job training program, we sit down and speak with every candidate. We find out what he or she likes to do and what their skills are. This helps us to determine what type of work would be a good fit for the employee, as well as the employer.

The Occupational Training Center of Burlington provides vocational training for all of our clients through a variety of programs. Our programs range from janitorial and bench assembly to recycling and crew labor. Our goal is to give each person the skills necessary to become a productive member of the workplace, and possibly further their financial and social independence. We also offer job placement support for workers who want to expand their scope of potential employment outside of our programs.

Job Skills

Along with hands-on training for specific fields, the Occupational Training Center of Burlington also teaches people other important job skills. We want all of our trainees to possess the skills to find a job on their own if they so choose. These skills include how to create a resume, how to apply for a position, how to dress for an interview, and how to successfully interview.
