As part of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), the OTC is highlighting one of our clients’ professional accomplishments each week in October! This week’s client spotlight is Jonathan Wynn.
Jonathan has been enrolled at the Occupational Training Center’s Marlton Community Access Center since 2007. One of his favorite ways to express himself is through painting and it’s won him a great deal of recognition. You can find some of his murals on display at the center.
Jonathan is not new to the art world. He first learned how to paint by watching “The Joy of Painting” with Bob Ross on television as a child. Bob Ross even called to congratulate Jonathan after he won first place in an art contest hosted by the Boy Scouts of America when he was 11.
Jonathan’s work has been featured in the Burlington County Times. This exposure has helped Jonathan sell many of his painting.
The OTC’s mission is to help individuals with disabilities reach their maximum potential. We strongly encourage our clients to pursue their passions and are thrilled that Jonathon has found such a constructive, successful outlet in painting.
