#GivingTuesday at the OTC

What will you give for Thanksgiving?

Giving Tuesday at the OTC Group Homes

#GivingTuesday is a movement just as widely recognized as Black Friday or Cyber Monday that allows people from all over the world to get involved and give back to their community. It is celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and this year the OTC is focusing #GivingTuesday on improving our group homes.

Just three months ago, the OTC dedicated the Robert Scheying Group Home as its fourth home for residents with disabilities. We’re building more and need as much help as we can get. This is where you come in!

On Tuesday, November 27, 2018, the OTC is accepting donations from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at our main office at 2 Manhattan Drive Burlington Township, NJ 08106. We are asking for donations of household items that can be used in our four group homes. A container will be available at the front door to accept items.

Some examples of donations include:

  • Pots
  • Pans
  • Plate, Bowls
  • Glasses, Cups, Mugs
  • Towels
  • Utensils (Spoons, forks, knives, Spatulas, Ladels, Whisks, etc.)
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Toasters
  • Drying racks

We appreciate any donation you may be willing to give and appreciate your considering the OTC as part of your #GivingTuesday. Can’t make it on 11/27? Contact us at 609-267-6677 to schedule your donation drop off for another time.
